Overview

Hiring Intel finds open job postings at any company by searching across multiple job platforms and applicant tracking systems. It checks careers pages directly and queries platforms like Indeed, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Google Jobs, ZipRecruiter, and Bayt. It can also crawl company careers pages and extract postings from popular ATS platforms including Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, and Workday. Knowing what roles a company is hiring for tells you where they are investing — if they are hiring SDRs, they are scaling outbound. If they are hiring engineers for a specific stack, that is a qualification signal.

Currently macOS only. Windows and Linux support coming soon.

Use Cases

Detect Sales Scaling Signals from SDR Hiring

You sell sales enablement software and want to identify companies actively scaling their outbound teams. You search for "SDR" and "BDR" postings across Indeed and LinkedIn. Hiring Intel returns 15 companies that posted SDR roles in the last two weeks, with job descriptions mentioning tools like Outreach, Apollo, and Salesforce.

Expected outcome: A list of companies actively hiring SDRs with full job descriptions, allowing your team to prioritize accounts that are investing in outbound sales infrastructure and likely need supporting tools.

Identify Technology Adoption from Engineering Roles

You sell a Kubernetes monitoring solution. You use Hiring Intel to search for job postings mentioning "Kubernetes" across multiple platforms. The tool returns postings from 30 companies, many of which specify experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and AWS EKS in their requirements.

Expected outcome: A qualified prospect list of companies running Kubernetes infrastructure, complete with details about their specific tech requirements — enabling targeted outreach that references their exact stack.

Monitor Competitor Hiring Patterns

You want to track what roles a competitor is hiring for to understand their strategic direction. You run Hiring Intel with the competitor's name and get back all their open positions across Greenhouse and LinkedIn, sorted by department. A surge in product marketing and enterprise AE roles signals they are moving upmarket.

Expected outcome: A comprehensive hiring profile for the competitor showing open roles by department, with hiring velocity trends — useful for competitive strategy and identifying talent you might recruit.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many job platforms does Hiring Intel search?
Hiring Intel searches six major job platforms: Indeed, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Google Jobs, ZipRecruiter, and Bayt. You can search all platforms at once or target a specific one. Additionally, it can extract job postings directly from company careers pages and ATS platforms like Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, and Workday.
Can Hiring Intel extract the full job description, not just the title?
Yes. The extract_job_description tool takes a job posting URL and returns the full description, including requirements, responsibilities, qualifications, and compensation details when available. This is particularly useful for analyzing the specific tools and technologies mentioned in a posting.
How recent are the job postings returned?
Job postings are sourced in real-time from each platform. Results reflect whatever is currently live on the platform. You can filter by recency to only see postings from the last day, week, or month depending on the platform's filtering capabilities.
Can I use Hiring Intel to monitor a company's hiring over time?
While Hiring Intel does not have built-in monitoring, you can set up a recurring workflow that runs the tool on a schedule (daily or weekly) and compares results to previous runs. This lets you detect new postings, removed postings, and shifts in hiring focus.
Does Hiring Intel work for companies outside the US?
Yes. The job platforms it searches have international coverage. Indeed, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and Google Jobs all index international postings. Bayt specifically covers the Middle East and North Africa region. Use the location filter to target specific countries or regions.
