Why this rule existsrationale
How to fix itremediation
Shorten the named field to its cap. Where a legal name genuinely exceeds 100 characters, use the first line of the IRS-registered name — that is what BRD-007 asks for anyway. Done when every field is inside its limit.
A compliant exampleexample
company_name: Acme Coffee Co, LLC — 19 of 100 characters

Rules you will hit next
2 other rules read all brand text fields. Fixing one field to satisfy a single rule is how a resubmission trades one rejection for another, so read these before you change anything.
